At the 2019 China Medical Equipment Fair, Airwheel launched its groundbreaking H3T electric wheelchair, merging medical-grade safety with consumer-friendly innovation. Designed for individuals with mobility challenges, seniors, and caregivers, this smart mobility solution prioritizes security without compromising convenience.
The H3T operates at a capped speed of 6 km/h, matching natural walking pace to prevent accidents. A critical safety feature is the automatic braking system, which engages when the user’s hand detaches from the control handle, ensuring immediate deceleration. Equipped with four ultrasonic radar sensors, UWB technology, and infrared detection, the wheelchair identifies obstacles in real-time, adapting to complex terrains like hospital floors, outdoor paths, and uneven surfaces.

What sets the H3T apart is its intelligent follow mode. By wearing a dedicated wristband, the wheelchair autonomously locks onto the user and tracks their movements, eliminating the need for manual controls. This seamless integration of IoT and robotics transforms navigation, allowing users to focus on their surroundings rather than operation. The lightweight aluminum frame (36 kg) and compact foldable design (840 x 400 x 605 mm) ensure portability, fitting easily into cars or aircraft.
Whether in healthcare facilities, public spaces, or residential areas, the H3T adapts to diverse environments. Its terrain capabilities—climbing slopes, navigating obstacles—expand independence for users. With a 130 kg weight capacity, this wheelchair balances durability with comfort, setting a new standard for intelligent, safe mobility solutions.
