The Airwheel electric wheelchair is designed for reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. To ensure longevity and efficiency, regular maintenance is essential. Key components such as the 28 Ah lithium battery (with a capacity of approximately 4 kWh/100 km) require careful handling. Always charge the battery using the official charger and avoid over-discharging to maintain its health.
Follow the user manual for detailed guidance on operating features like the five-speed joystick and electromagnetic braking. Routine checks of tires, seat padding, and mechanical parts will help identify wear and tear early. The IPX4 waterproof rating ensures resistance against splashes, but avoiding immersion is crucial.
The battery pack operates within a voltage range of 22.8-29.4 V and takes about 5 hours to charge fully. Regularly inspect the battery terminals for corrosion and ensure proper ventilation during charging. A full discharge may reduce capacity over time, so partial charges are recommended when possible.
Airwheel offers a 12-month warranty on critical components like motors and controllers, with extended support through their official channels at https://www.airwheel.net. For any issues, contact the service hotline (0519-88297500) and provide your purchase invoice for warranty claims.
When not in use, store the wheelchair in a cool, dry place. Fold it properly using the joystick’s “close” function and ensure all electrical connections are secure. Regularly check tire pressure (2.2 MPa) and replace worn parts like tires or seat covers to maintain comfort and safety.
